'How to Skin a Bear' is a gripping Stone Age survival story for children aged 7–11, packed with danger, discovery, and a bold young heroine determined to prove herself. When Bee is separated from her tribe during a storm, she must rely on her wits, her courage, and her loyal dog to find her way back. And maybe she'll even slay a bear or two along the way...
Set against the harsh beauty of the prehistoric landscape, this fast-paced adventure explores themes of bravery, independence, and what it means to truly belong. Bee’s journey from overlooked feather-plucker to heroic bear-slayer will captivate young readers and spark discussion in the classroom.
